Songs we’d love to share: Just a little faster, just in time, pages, deadlines, remember when, addiction and her name, no more room to breathe, stories… basically, their entire album
Mandi: I was watching Cartoon Network one day (I’m aware its a childrens network, but since I just turned 18 I can still get away with that) and a music video for the Ben 10: Alien Swarm movie came on. Usually, I shut off the t.v. when videos come on because lets face it, the songs usually suck. But the song playing caught my attention. It was called “Just a little faster” by a band that I’d never heard of, There for tomorrow.
I googled them and downloaded all their songs to hear what kind of band they were and I loved everything I heard. They are an up and coming band, and I think they have the potential to go seriously far. They are really talented and have become my all time favorite band. They have the whole package: the words and the sound. AMAZING BAND. End of story.
Sa: There for Tomorrow. Since I’m fifteen with no permit and absolutely no control over the radio (as if there was anything good playing on the air waves these days), I ask Mandi to send me a playlist of music every two weeks or so. Usually I filter out anything that holds no vibe, so as I was scrolling down I noticed Mandi had added a thousand little *s next to a song, just a little faster. Rolling my eyes, thinking “what the hell is it this time?” I copied the name on youtube and fell in love with the opening guitar cords. Their sound is emotionally compelling with lyrics that not only have meaning (“lyrics that have meaning” omfg. no way!), but are sung by the voice of an amazing lead singer. The music is insanely original without sounding like crap and the band, overall is not too bad looking themselves (not that this effects my judgement) =]. Every song has failed to disappoint, just as good as the first. Here’s my final score, 11 on a scale of 10.
Their EP has been out for a while and so has their debut album, “Just a Little Faster”
